This gorgeous and dramatic modern home was designed by Ezequiel Farza Architects as a vacation home. Located in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, the property boasts stunning vistas overlooking the Pacific Ocean. When designing this home, the architects envisioned a strong connection to nature with green walls and floor-to-ceiling windows. Since it is a holiday home, the property offers every possible amenity to allow for the perfect vacation: eight bedrooms, a fitness center, a home theater, two jacuzzis, a terrace with a swimming pool, a fire pit area, and numerous indoor and outdoor areas for socializing and entertaining.
The mixture of natural materials against a stark modern design creates a very unique and beautiful design scheme. From the architect: “The use of natural stone and concrete walls create fresh spaces that dually provide passive cooling during hot seasons. The home’s 1950’s-style modernism is warmed up by the use of earthy materials and finishes, such as board formed concrete, green walls, and custom walnut furnishings. Furniture and decorative elements were exclusively chosen and designed to integrate with the architecture. Colors and linen fabrics bring warmth and the relaxing ambiance to the beach house, while custom furnishings give a nod to mid-century design, complemented by select vintage elements throughout.”
